Homoeopathic Introduction

This is an alternate system of medicine. Let me tell you’ll about homoeopathy, its origin was by a German physician Samuel HAHNEMAN who born on 10th April 1755 Homoeopathy treats ailments by medicines which have been tested on healthy persons ,here the question arises why healthy person? The answer is clear the word homoeopathy is derived from the two Greek words HOMOIS meaning similar and PATHOS meaning suffering and their combination represents a very concise description of the homeopathic method of remedy selection. A medicine selected homeopathically is chosen because of its ability to produce symptoms in a healthy person similar to that observed in the patient.
The basis of homoeopathy is a basic natural principle. In Latin this principle is stated as ‘SIMILIA SIMILIBUS CURANTUR’ meaning of which is ‘LET LIKES BE CURED BY LIKES’ and illustrates the fact that homeopathy is essentially a practical clinical method of determining the most appropriate remedy for a patient. The common person understands it as, POISON KILLS POISON’, everyone knows that iron cuts iron. According to science we cannot create something we simply change the form. Homoeopathic medicines are prepared from plants, live substances, minerals, etc. The first stage involves preparation of liquid mother tinctures .The successive dilutions, potencies are then made from the appropriate mother tincture or mineral using the centesimal scale or decimal scale.
